The new R1S features much of the same technology built into the R1 and R1M but with minor changes that make it the bike of choice for canyon carvers and commuters.

A $200 deposit is due within 2 days (non-refundable). Deposits may be paid by Paypal or Wire Transfer. The Balance is due within 7 days of listing close. Payment may be made via Money Order, or certified Bank check or Wire Transfer. 

Price includes dealer freight destination charge and setup fees. 

All paperwork and delivery of vehicle must take place at dealership. Shipping arrangements may be made after this to you or a representative you choose. Shipping generally runs $200 to $700 depending on location and vehicle. The machine does not leave our store until full payment is made. Wisconsin residents must pay Tax.

Yamaha Teases New Supersport Reveal for Nov. 3 + Video

Yamaha fans expecting to hear big news from the Tuning Fork brand at Intermot may be a bit disappointed the Cologne show only brought us a refreshed XJR1300, the MT-07 Moto Cage stunt variant and a futuristic three-wheeled concept model. The first two aren’t likely to come to North America and the third might never see production. But fear not, as while most of the motorcycle world was focused on Intermot, Yamaha released a video teasing a “new era” supersport announcement for Nov.

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
