Regretfully selling my 2014 Yamaha R6 with only 9477 miles on the odometer. I bought the bike new in 2014 with a maintenance plan from the dealer which has done all scheduled maintenance on it. I have the paperwork from the service department to prove this. The bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The pictures speak for themselves. THE BIKE HAS THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES -Full M4 exhaust system including headers. Sounds very good and makes excellent power -K&N Air filter -Power Commander tuned by Yamaha of Cool Springs -Yoshimura Rear fender eliminator -Frame Sliders -HID Headlights -HotBodies Racing Smoked windscreen -Short Brake and clutch levers -Carbon Fiber Vinyl mirrors -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Tank protector -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Gas Cap trim (all pictured) The bike makes nearly 20 more hp TO THE WHEEL than a stock R6. It is very fast. I have the dyno sheets to prove this. There is nothing wrong with this bike. I am selling it in order to go back to school this fall without too much debt. In all, Stewart took part in just three races in 2010.
Schwantz Headlines 2012 Isle of Man TT Parade Lap
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz headlines a star-studded group of racers taking part in a parade lap during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.
2014 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F Recalled
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Yamaha is recalling 2014 YZ450F and YZ250F off-ride motorcycles because of a risk of the drive chain detaching. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects 1,300 units in the U.S. while Transport Canada says another 115 units are affected north of the border.
