Regretfully selling my 2014 Yamaha R6 with only 9477 miles on the odometer. I bought the bike new in 2014 with a maintenance plan from the dealer which has done all scheduled maintenance on it. I have the paperwork from the service department to prove this. The bike is in excellent shape both mechanically and cosmetically. The pictures speak for themselves. THE BIKE HAS THE FOLLOWING UPGRADES -Full M4 exhaust system including headers. Sounds very good and makes excellent power -K&N Air filter -Power Commander tuned by Yamaha of Cool Springs -Yoshimura Rear fender eliminator -Frame Sliders -HID Headlights -HotBodies Racing Smoked windscreen -Short Brake and clutch levers -Carbon Fiber Vinyl mirrors -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Tank protector -Carbon Fiber Vinyl Gas Cap trim (all pictured) The bike makes nearly 20 more hp TO THE WHEEL than a stock R6. It is very fast. I have the dyno sheets to prove this. There is nothing wrong with this bike. I am selling it in order to go back to school this fall without too much debt. Lorenzo to Remain with Yamaha Through 2014 MotoGP Season
Tue, 12 Jun 2012Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha that will see the 2010 MotoGP Champion riding the M1 through the 2014 season. Lorenzo currently leads the 2012 MotoGP Championship points chase with 115 points and is looking for his second premiere class title. Through five races this season, Lorenzo has three wins and a pair of second-place finishes, matching his pace from his championship-winning 2010 season.

Only owning perforated summer gloves is also far from ideal. This is the situation I found myself in and seeing as everything in Italy costs a million Euros, I wasn’t prepared to spend a fortune on a set of discontinued Oxford heated grips from the local motocross shop. A very pretty girl called Fanny at Chitrrai Yamaha, near Perugia, showed me the winter glove options.

It's beautifully shot/directed and captures GP rider Mike Duff's recovery from a horrific hip and pelvis injury suffered at the Japanese GP which cost him a six month stay in hospital. Watching him push-start makes you wince just imagining the pain he must have been in.
