Yamaha YZF-R description

2014 Yamaha R1 with 2,350 miles. Bike does not have a scratch, or dent, very clean bike.  Pictures do not do the bike justice, paint and colors look especially nice in the sun.  Team Yamaha graphics, a more rare color scheme.  Never been down, dropped, or raced. Always garage kept and never been in the rain. Has fender eliminator, rear integrated taillight, front flush mounted turn signals otherwise stock like it came from the dealership. Bike comes with both keys. Clean title in hand.  Local pick up only but may be willing to meet closer to your location.   Bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end this listing at any time.

Ben Spies Video Interview on 2012 MotoGP Season [Video]

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Yamaha Factory Racing today posted on its YouTube page a video interview with Ben “Elbowz” Spies, in which Spies discusses the soon to start 2012 season of MotoGP. In his usual calm, cool and under control manner Spies speaks frankly on how he prefers the 1000cc GP machine, saying it suits his style (elbows out!) better than the previous seasons’ 800cc bikes because the extra torque and horsepower of the liter-class bikes are, essentially, better matched to his physical stature. Spies also answers honestly the question of who he thinks he needs to keep an eye in 2012, including his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo.

Wayne Rainey will return to the Misano circuit for the first time since he suffered a career-ending crash that left him paralyzed from the chest down. The Sept. 5, 1993 crash at the circuit then-known as the Circuito Internazionale Santamonica brought a sudden end to what had been an incredibly successful Grand Prix racing career.
