Yamaha YZF-R tech info

Yamaha YZF-R description
I have a 2011 Yamaha R1 that is in perfect condition. This bike is used but is in new condition with many upgrades. The bike has no damage and runs like a beast. It only has 8659 miles, I have several bikes and this one was just a weekend bike and occasionally a ride to and from work not to mention my favorite sport bike. I have a clear and clean title in hand for the bike.
As you can see from the pictures the bike is completely murdered out. I removed all the decals and logos to give it that stealth look. I also added black headlight covers and removed the mirrors There are so many upgrades and add one with lots of racing parts but to start the bike has a full titanium exhaust with carbon fiber cans, vortex rear sets , power commander with a custom built map that is truly sick. . .I promise this map will blow your socks off. Will include the matching solo seat cover along with the second rider seat. Now the only problem with the bike is the rear tire, as you can see from the pictures it will need to be replaced but that is the only issue with the bike. A little about me, I'm 32yrs old and have been racing bikes since I was 20. I have several bikes with most of them being track bikes, I have a couple of sport bikes for fun and this 2011 R1 is one of them. I custom build bikes and service everything myself but I have a sponsor who helps with my race bikes. I recently got into building custom cruisers and absolutely love this bobber I built so I haven't been on my sport bikes much this year. This bike has never been abused, I have race bikes so this bike has never been raced nor has it been stunted on or wrecked. I am only asking $8800 for my 2011 Yamaha R1, if the buy it now is still not posted please message me if your looking to buy it before the auction ends because I will also have it listed locally so if your interested in it please just contact me. As for shipping . . .if you have someone that can pick it up I will do everything I can to make that work. You are always more then welcome to pick it up and the last option I have is I can deliver it to you, I would be willing to deliver the bike at $2 per mile up to 500 miles from my home. I am a full-time firefighter so if you decide you want me to deliver it I will take the time off work so I can get the bike to you as fast as I can. I have a single motorcycle trailer I would also be willing to throw into the deal at an additional $500 and if you buy the bike for the asking price of $8800 I will include the bike stands and what original parts I have. If there is anything you would like to know please feel free to message me or contact me at 8502722520 |

Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 Color and Graphic Options Announced
Thu, 13 Sep 2012Those of you hoping for an updated Yamaha YZF-R6 will have to wait for at least another year, as Yamaha announced the 599cc sportbike is returning for 2013 unchanged except for new colors and graphics. Yamaha last updated the R6 in 2008, equipping it with the company’s Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-T) variable-length intake system. The lack of any significant updates to the 2013 R6 must be disappointing to Yamaha fans, especially as the color updates were announced the same day Kawasaki is expected to reveal a new 636cc ZX-6R.
