I purchased this bike 2 years ago from a dealer with 600 miles on it.
It now has 6500. Never abused, always maintained by my local Yamaha dealer in North Royalton (ask for Dave) As much as I love the bike, it's time to move on. Upgrades: - Two Brothers Exhaust - Gold powder coated wheels - Tinted windscreen - Dark side signals - Power Commander 5 - New tires - I bought it "stretched" but had the extension removed. Yamaha Motiv – A Car From The Tuning Fork Company
Wed, 20 Nov 2013According to reports from the Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha has announced preliminary plans to produce the Motiv, a lightweight, two-seater similar to a Smart car. The Motiv is apparently based on Gordon Murray Design‘s T25 and T27 concept cars and will apparently use Murray’s iStream assembly process. Sources say the vehicle is targeted for the European market and will be available in both electric as well as fossil fuel versions.
Dakar Rally 2012 Results – Despres Wins Fourth Dakar
Mon, 16 Jan 2012Cyril Despres beat his teammate Marc Coma to win his fourth Dakar Rally, while KTM captured its 11th consecutive win in the 33rd running of the off-road race. Despres won three stages and finished the 5,214-mile race in South America in a total time of 43 hours, 28 minutes and 11 seconds. Despres crossed the finish in Lima, Peru, with a lead of 53 minutes and 20 seconds ahead of his fellow Red Bull KTM rider Coma.
2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced
Thu, 22 Nov 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
