Yamaha YZF-R description

2010 Yamaha YZF-R1, 2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 - THE BARK IS BAD, THE BITE IS BADDER Forget everything you ever knew about the super sport liter class. The all-new YZF-R1 is unlike anything before. That’s because it’s the world’s first production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. The result? Incredibly smooth power delivery and outrageous torque for a rush like you’ve never experienced. The 2010 Yamaha R1 represents a paradigm shift in technology, performance and controllability among litre class sport bikes. Inspired by Yamahas M1 MotoGP race bike, this latest generation R1 features a crossplane crankshaft design with an uneven firing order to provide outstanding yet easy to control torque and an exceptionally linear throttle feel never experienced before. But there is far more to the R1 than just a revolutionary engine. 3-Day no Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee on all Certified used motorcycles purchased! Click here to learn more! Callaway Builds Motorcycle Engine

Thu, 20 Nov 2008

Callaway is a name that has become synonymous with Corvettes over the years, and with good reason. However, in addition to unleashing the power of America’s legendary sports car, Reeves Callaway has also done technical and engineering consulting for motorcycle companies such as Yamaha. A few years ago, he showed the world a V16 motor he built using four Yamaha 1,000cc motorcycle engines mounted on a custom fabricated aluminum block.

Build your own Yamaha VMax

For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.

Master Of Torque: Motorcycle Anime By Yamaha Final Installment

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

If you’re into motorcycles, big, puppy dog eyes, dramatic Japanese dialogue with English subtitles, and subliminal Yamaha references then check out Master of Torque, Yamaha’s original anime series. The final installment in the three-part series is set to release tomorrow. Set in Tokyo, Japan in the year 2017, three years before the city’s hosting of the 2020 Olympic Games, the show focuses on the exploits of three young motorcyclists and highlights Yamaha’s FZ-09 and FZ-07.
