Yamaha YZF-R description
Very Clean, Great shape, 2009 Yamaha R6S for sale by owner. I only had it out for a few seasons. Starts and runs beautifully. I only road it around open country roads and to and from work on back roads. Never been stunted or driven recklessly. It was dropped once at very low speed during a traffic incident, resulting in minor cosmetic damage to the left side. I had it mechanically checked by an expert and was told that it is in perfect mechanical condition. I am only selling because I don't use it often enough to warrant keeping it. I hold a clean title on the vehicle. It will probably need an oil change but that is the only maintenance that should be needed. My asking price is $7000 or best offer because of the fact that the meat and potatoes of the bike has a hair over 2000 miles on it and it is in top shape other than the minor scuffs on the left side. It has been started and run every month or 2 during the season regardless of consistent riding. I would like to move it fast so I will certainly entertain any offers. KBB.com says with normal mileage for this age (26,000 miles) it is worth $5100. This one has 8% of that mileage and is a perfect mid-weight bike and super fast for its size. Please give me a call or text!! Thanks.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
Rossi’s Ranch: Valentino’s Personal Playground
Tue, 23 Jul 2013What does Valentino Rossi do when he’s not riding his Yamaha M1 around the best racetracks in the world? He relaxes at home in Tavullia, Italy, and rides motorcycles around his newly developed dirt track dubbed, “Rossi’s Ranch.” “It’s like a dream from when you’re a child,” says Rossi. “You hope at one moment you can buy your own racetrack.” It’s safe to say Rossi is financially stable enough at this moment in time to where he can make his childhood dream a reality.
