Yamaha YZF-R description

2009 Yamaha YZF-R6 with less than 5,000 miles

I bought this bike in May of 2010 when it was still in the create.  Assembly and tuning was done by the race team at Team Winnebagoland in Oshkosh, WI

Oil and fluids have been changed three times since the engine start: 1,500 after initial break-in, at 3,500 after full break-in and redline testing, and lastly at the end of last season before it when up on the stand for the winter.  Yamalube was used for all changes along with factory filters.

New Dunlop rubber on the rear. Only 500 miles on tire.

For the most part, I have kept it stock.  This was my third bike, and after two heavily customized rides, I wanted to have something fresh from the factory with minor tweaks.

Bike modifications have been minimal and include:
  • Integrated rear tail light - features turn signal within the tail light (Professionally installed)
  • Flush front turn signals  (Professionally installed)
  • Sliders up front and on rear arm (Installed by me)
  • Fender Eliminator featuring R6 lazer-cut etching (Installed by me)
  • High output battery for cold start and easy-connector charging  - No need to take off main seat to charge - installed in May 2013
Engine and exhaust are stock. There's plenty you can do to tune it and make it your own.

Color is white with silver fairing accents and red seats.  This was stock from the factory.  Here's the pro image: http://www.mcnews.com.au/Wallpaper/Yamaha/R6/2009/2009_Yamaha_YZF-R6_White_RHF_1280.jpg

KBB is $6,470 on a "good" condition with 8,000+ miles - http://www.kbb.com/motorcycles/yamaha/yzf-r6/2009-yamaha-yzf-r6/suggestedretailvalue/
You're bidding on a bike that has 5,000 miles that just graduated its break-in period.  It's ready to go to red line.

INCLUDED with the purchase of the R6 is the Yamaha bike cover shown in the pictures.  This is a factory racing cover featuring both the Yamaha branding and the R6 logo on the front. Also the factory tool kit, which fits under the passenger seat in the Deltabox, and the paper owner's manual with certifications by the assembler at Team Winnebagoland.

Happy bidding
