Yamaha YZF-R tech info

Yamaha YZF-R description
Bike was laid over at 25MPH which pretty well destroyed the front cowlings and bent the forks. Bike still starts right up, runs fine, and sound great! Everything from the front of the frame back looks like it was untouched (there was a few scratches from the previous owner. Tank has virtually no damage (typical wear spots show signs of use). I took it to a show for a general inspection after the wreck and they said that they couldn't tell if the frame was bent or not.. its a 2008 YAMAHA R6s to is had the older style engine in it which means its a little more adjustable without special tools. I have factory parts for it but it currently has an aftermarket exhaust, fender eliminator, and new tire installed less than 300 miles ago (which is why I believe I lost traction, tire isn't worn in quite yet). Always garage kept, maintenance always done on time if not early. Bike was well cared for all of its life. Bidding starts at $1,500 but I'd like to get $2,500 for it as is, may take trades for another motorcycle (almost any style, preferably post 2006). Local pickup only! Contact me for more details.
