Yamaha YZF-R description
2008 Yamaha YZF-R6
Mint Condition, A Like New, One Owner,
100% Original Low Mile Beauty
Never Ridden Hard & Never Abused
The #1 Most Popular 600 CC Top Tier Sport bike!
This is the Special Edition Cadmium Yellow & Black Flamed Model!
This thing is a
rocket! It has a Two Brothers exhaust system, fender eliminator kit, Slider Pads, Carbon Fiber Style Tank Protector and Gas Cap Protector, and Triple clamp cover, LED under glow lights! Over $1,000 in Extras combo!
It produces over
110 rear wheel horse power & turns on a dime! Truly the ultimate street
weapon!
With a 600 being
this fast it makes it extremely difficult to justify purchasing a liter bike
thanks to the higher initial price/tax, insurance, property taxes &
maintenance costs associated with a liter bike.
“The R6
motor is a screamer on top, it f@$#ing rips. our other fast
flogger says he’d pick the R6 for track battle over any of the other bikes,
thanks in part to four-way adjustable front and rear suspension with provisions
for both high- and low-speed compression, preload, and rebound damping along
with an increased range for adjustability to the ride height for ’08. In the
end, the R6 is one potent track bike.”-MotoUSA
“But for all
those R6 riders who take their bikes to the track, it’s hard to imagine a
better tool for learning to go faster while giggling like a schoolboy inside
your helmet. In this environment, there might not be a better choice than the
eager R6 and the operatic soundtrack as it shrieks to its 16,500-rpm redline.”

“Yamaha’s designers had one problem with
superceding its 2006-07 R6, and that was how to improve a motorcycle that was
very good in the first place. But improve it they have with clever attention to
details borne from its World Super sport racing program. A designer’s touch
here and the same effort there, has led to the Yamaha R6 being the definitive
super sport package”-MotorcycleNews

Let the record show that, despite my best efforts, Yamaha’s MT-10 was not included in either the street or track portions of our mega seven-way open-class naked bike shootouts last year. I fought for its inclusion but was ultimately denied by the Bossman who wrote it off by saying our field was big enough and it wasn’t going to win anyway.
Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.
Yamaha revealed the production version of its 250 sportbike, the two-cylinder YZF-R25. Manufactured in Indonesia, the R25 will first be offered in that market before being exported to other markets including other Asian countries as well as developed markets in the west. The production model stays close to the prototype R25 revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show last fall.
