Yamaha YZF-R description

Beautiful 2007 Yamaha Yzfr1. This bike is adult owned and has been rode sensibly. Many many, add-ons including Vortex handle bars, D3 grips, Puig blacked out windshield, chrome wheels and rotors, gel seat, under tail license plate, alum chain cover, LEDs, Toce T slash slip ons, stainless y pipe, smog block offs, and more. The Ecu was sent in to Super Bikes Unlimited to be flash tuned to match the exhaust mods, remove factory restrictions and decrease the engine brake. These mods put a factory bike to shame and make this one amazing ride. Not sure why you would want to, but the original exhaust and smog pump will come with the bike and you can send the ECU back in to get reflashed for $110 if you wanted to put it back to factory specs. Tires are decent but you will probably want to change them after this season as I primarily rode this as a commuter bike on straight flat roads. The stands and a half cover will be included. Low reserve!
You will not be disappointed with this bike!

Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Fri, 09 Sep 2011

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
