Available is an excellent condition 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1. Please see all pics as this sport bike is in excellent condition with 10k miles and few to no imperfections. Previous owner was a mature adult rider with an impressive motorcycle collection. This was his daily rider which meant it was meticulously cared for. Upgrades were performed to make the bike either safer or more fun to ride. The title is clear and in hand and mileage will remain the same as this bike will not be ridden much before the sale.
Recent upgrades/parts replaced: -new battery installed a month ago. -battery tender hookup. -Pazzo Levers for clutch and brake. -Akropovic Slip on Exhaust. -Puig Windscreen. -Frame Sliders. -R1 badging on seat with "carbon fiber" look. -Michelin tires. -Power Commander fully installed. -PWM "mesh style" wheels -tires/brakes in good condition -ready to ride I personally rode this bike before listing it and it rides great. All forward gears engage as they should and the bike has smooth power delivery. All electrical accessories work as they should and the chain, sprocket and tires are in good condition as well. Yamalube Motor Oil Video is Educational, British, and Brainwashing
Tue, 16 Jun 2009Yamaha Motor Europe have just posted a new video up on Youtube about their Yamalube motor oil and why you should use it on your Yamaha products. They are pretty damn convincing or very good at brainwashing! The video is pretty educational, explaining how motorcycle engines and car engines are very different, what a motorcycle engine really needs, and why Yamalube is very well suited for the job. Various graphs, charts, shots of scientists making oil, and the accented British narrator have further convinced me that I need to get Yamalube and perhaps even be adding it into my morning bowl of cereal.
