Runs great, clean title on hand, 17,*** miles -Please note, some mild rash in the right lower fairing, however I have 2 right lower used fairings (see photos). I will ship the fairings free of charge upon successful purchase. -Also mild rash on the upper right fairing (see photos) those would need replacement. I would rate the mechanical condition 8/10 and the cosmetic 7/10 though I get lots of compliments on the looks when riding it. I will also ship new battery upon purchase as well as brand new trickle charger. Highlights: -LoJack recovery system installed -Yoshimura Exhaust -Scott Stabilizer -Exterior lighting modifications ( HID lights, integrated tail lights). I prefer a local pickup, however, buyer may hire shipping company. Cash or cashiers check only within 3 days of close of auction. Please! Ask me questions! US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Sidecar TT Race 1 Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012Dave Molyneux won his 15th career Isle of Man TT race with a victory in the first Sure Sidecar TT race of the 2012 festival. The win comes in Molyneux’s return to the Isle of Man TT after sitting out last year’s competition. By far the most successful Sidecar racer in TT history Molyneux is third overall among riders in any class, behind Joey Dunlop (26) and John McGuinness (18).
