odometer: 13000

2006 Yamaha r1 50th anniversary with a rebuild title. I purchased this bike with a salvage title, it had cosmetic damage which I have replaced with oem parts or painted existing parts. The bike has been inspected by Virginia department of salvage and rebuild certification. The odometer reads ~15000 because I had to replace it.I have before and after pictures if you would like to see what it looked like when I purchased it. There are a couple scratches on the lower left fairing that wasn't nesessary to replace for inspection so I didn't. I will add those pics.  The mods are vortex 530 chain conversion with -1 and +2, asv un breakable levers, Gilles rearsets (setup for gp/reverse shift at the moment) I can switch it back to standard shift, rental soft grips and bmc air filter . Contact me with any questions. Cash in hand test rides

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

Tue, 19 Jun 2012

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.

Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
