Yamaha YZF-R description
2005 Yamaha Yzf-R6 with 6500 miles. Bike runs and drives excellent. The motor has very low miles and pulls very strong. This would make an excellent candidate for a street fighter project or track bike. All the important parts are there, Gas tank is in very good condition (no damage) tail section and seats are also in very good condition. The tail section does have one small crack on side but otherwise is very usable. The front forks/triples and controls are also in good condition. This bike needs very little to get it going, Plastic, muffler, and a little time. If you want to re-title, check first with your states laws. Bike will come with salvage title only. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k
Fri, 02 May 2014Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.
