Yamaha YZF-R description
2005 Yamaha Yzf-R6 with 6500 miles. Bike runs and drives excellent. The motor has very low miles and pulls very strong. This would make an excellent candidate for a street fighter project or track bike. All the important parts are there, Gas tank is in very good condition (no damage) tail section and seats are also in very good condition. The tail section does have one small crack on side but otherwise is very usable. The front forks/triples and controls are also in good condition. This bike needs very little to get it going, Plastic, muffler, and a little time. If you want to re-title, check first with your states laws. Bike will come with salvage title only. California Superbike School 2-day Camp at Silverstone
Mon, 24 May 2010California Superbike School will be running a 2-day camp at Silverstone for the first time in the UK this August, offering riders a chance to enjoy extra track time while improving their skills in the art of cornering. Taking place on the all-new South circuit (1.9 miles long with 12 turns) students can ride their own bike or hire a fully prepared 2010 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop Sportsmart tyres and fuel included. Already hugely popular with students returning year after year, previously the 2-day camps have been held in Spain during the spring.
Yamaha Reports 2011 Results
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Yamaha Motor Corp/ reported a net profit of 27 billion yen (US$345 million) in 2011, compared to a profit of 18.3 billion yen (US$243 million) year before. Overall net sales were down 1.4% to 1.28 billion yen (US$16.3 billion), but operating income rose 4.1% to 53.4 billion yen (US$682 million). The increase in operating income came despite the negative impact of last March’s earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand.
