Yamaha YZF-R description
2005 Yamaha YZF-R6, This 2005 Yamaha YZF-R6 is a parts only bike. The frame and body have 11,709 miles and appears to be in decent shape. The motor however, is not operable and we do not know what caused the motor failure. The front fairing, tank and rear tail are O.E.M. Yamaha body work. The side fairings seem to be painted flat black and are missing the lower bolts to secure to frame. This bike is being sold as is, with no warranty or service work completed. Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns To NJMP
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Good news for those saddened to hear the Yamaha Champions Riding School would not return to Miller Motorsports Park in 2014: the school is back, now operating from New Jersey Motorsports Park. The change in venue doesn’t come without a slight change in the instructor lineup. Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will still lead the way, joined by Mr. Daytona himself, Scott Russell, but a new addition to the star-studded instructor lineup has also been added: none other than Larry Pegram.
Movistar To Be Yamaha MotoGP Title Sponsor For 5-Years
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Finding sponsors for U.S. racing might be next to impossible, but this isn’t the case elsewhere, as Movistar, a telecommunications arm of Spanish company Telefonica, has signed on to be the title sponsor for the Factory Yamaha MotoGP team for the next five years. Short of the 20-year relationship between Honda and Repsol, this comes as one of the more significant sponsorship deals in recent memory.
