Up for sale is my 2005 Yamaha YZF-R1 with 2,598 miles on it. Yes that is the correct mileage and you will not find a nicer, more complete late model R1 in the entire USA with this low mileage. This bike is in amazing condition and looks like it came off of the showroom floor, there is not one flaw or defect you will be able to find on or with this bike. Only rode when the weather is nice and kept in a climate controlled garage. This motorcycle is better than new because the condition it still like brand new with all of the correct upgrades. The bike is rated at 180hp right from the factory, this one is closer to 195hp with all performance upgrades. A true 200 mph liter-class sport bike. This R1 was properly broken in and oil changed at correct intervals. All maintenance has been performed meticulously on this bike and there is absolutely no track time on it. ** Last Oil change completed on 4/17/16. Yamaha Wraps Up Sepang MotoGP Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Pre-season test lap times aren’t a precise barometer for how the 2012 MotoGP Championship season will go, but Yamaha has to feel good about its results after this week’s testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Last February at Sepang, Honda riders were the talk of the preseason session, taking three of the top four lap times on each day of the test. That pattern repeated itself in the final championship standings with Casey Stoner taking the championship, Dani Pedrosa finishing third and Andrea Dovizioso fourth.

Colin Edwards Joins Forward Racing CRT Squad for 2012
Fri, 02 Sep 2011Colin Edwards will join the Forward Racing team to compete in the 2012 MotoGP season as a Claiming Rule Team entry. Edwards, known as a good development rider and an even better quote machine, is the first rider to officially sign on with a CRT. Forward Racing may be more familiar to some race fans by its former name, Hayate Racing, the outfit that ran the Kawasaki ZX-RR with Marco Melandri in 2009 after Kawasaki pulled out of MotoGP racing.
