Yamaha YZF-R description

This is a 2004 Yamaha R1, in good condition. This bike has 17,678 miles on it and I have the clean title in hand, ready to transfer over to a buyer. I would not recommend this bike to anybody for their first bike, as this bike is very fast. The bike has a full Yoshimura exhaust system installed with a Power Commander III that has been mapped. It has also been geared. Bike also has HID headlights, although only one side works, I am not sure why. LED Tail light, shorty levers, fresh brake pads, new oil (less than 10 miles on oil change), and also has a carbon fiber rear tire fender with chain guard. Chain is cleaned and maintained. Overall the bike is in great shape, but is not perfect. There are a few scuffs and cracks on the bottom of the bike, that are unnoticeable while looking at from a standpoint. If you are local and would like to see the bike in person,  you may contact me and we can make arrangements to do so before bidding. I am in North Carolina, Rockingham County. PM me if you have any questions.

Yamaha has patented the design for a new variant to its Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter featuring a broader fairing resembling the TMax. Yamaha has previously announced it would introduce more leaning multi-wheeled vehicles, and this newly patented design may be the next one to go into production. The new design is heavily-based on the original Tricity.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
