2003 Yamaha R1 with 21xxx miles and a clear title in hand.
Mileage will slowly increase I have never dropped my bike. It has been tastefully stretched and lowered, and also contains other various aftermarket goods (featured in the photos). The bike starts cold and warm with zero issues, and is both fully functional and mechanically sound. It also sounds great! It can use minor touches to be prepared for the next full season such as new seats or simply be reupholstered, a new set of tires, and the paint has began to crack on the rear fairings (NO DAMAGE TO THE PLASTIC). Aside from that, it is in clean overall condition and receives lots of compliments as-is. The bike is ready to ride, I drive it everyday. I am asking $4,500 or best reasonable offer. Jorge Lorenzo Gets His Motorcycle License
Thu, 08 Mar 20122010 MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has earned his A2 Spanish motorcycle license. Last month, we learned Lorenzo was practicing for the test on a Yamaha YB250R motorcycle, and now the Yamaha factory racer has completed the practical portion of the test. Here he is pictured with his riding teacher Xavi Vallejo (and wouldn’t it be cool to tell people you taught a MotoGP World Champion how to ride a motorcycle?).
AMA Supercross: 2012 Los Angeles Results
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.
