2002 Yamaha Yzf-R1 , super clean all white looks great great starter bike but it is super fast. Lots of extras to many to list Upgraded brakes, intake, super lightweight sprocket, racetech front fork springs, hid light kit, kevlar racing clutch fairings all good rear tail has crack underneath from stepping on it working on stuff while back, but cant notice it unless from bottom Tires are good still meaty for another season or two Everything works great lights brakes suspension etc. Trans & engine are sharp feel new smooth as ever Good starter or daily bike for someone I never use it because of work schedule working nights so someone can actually get use out of her. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k

Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.

Valentino Rossi is back on the podium. Not a MotoGP podium, mind, but for a rally car race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy. (Post updated with video.) Driving a Ford Fiesta RS with co-driver Carlo Cassina, Rossi won two of nine stages and finished second overall to eight-time World Rally Car Champion Sebastien Loeb at the 2011 Monza Rally Show.
