Yamaha YZF-R description

Body work is off a 2000 Yamaha R6. These plastics will fit 1998-2002. The graphics patterns changed between the years. Side Upper fairings (BOTH sides) including directionals, lowers, and front fender (black) Body work was taken off my bike after only 200 miles and hung from rafters in garage. Bike has been sold with race plastics and these now need a new home. Plastics are in prestine condition. Bodywork can be boxed up and shipped if necessary. This can be discussed after final bidding and agreements can be arranged. Winning bidder will be responsible for any shipping and packaging costs that might be incurred. 2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

Yamaha Reveals 2014 MotoGP Livery

Earlier this month, we reported on the partnership between Yamaha and Movistar that would place the Spanish telecommunications company as title sponsor for the Yamaha MotoGP team for the next five years. The deal came at the eleventh hour, as contract negotiations and minor details needed to be sorted. Now, just days before the start of the 2014 season at the Grand Prix of Qatar, Yamaha has revealed its official 2014 MotoGP livery.
