Yamaha YZF-R description

Selling my 2002 Yamaha R1 with 24k miles. Runs awesome, mechanically sound. Not a cream puff: has done some track days in the past and has been down. little bit of rash here and there. 02 is widely regarded as one of the best years.

Brand new ZZZ chain and steel sprockets (will LAST!) front tire decent, rear tire worn (R1 eats rear tires for breakfast).

Nice custom aluminum fender eliminator. Integrated brake/turn signal programmable rear LED.

Used, not abused. Recent fluids to include fork oil, engine oil/filter, and coolant. recent re-pack of the steering head bearings (preventative maintenance).

Bike is located in Harrisburg - Possible local delivery. Sorry guys, no test rides on the big bad R1 without a full deposit. (unless you show up on a comparable bike - demonstrating ability). Clear title in hand.

Yamaha plans to cut production for motorcycles and other products by 30 percent in the Americas, 20 percent in Europe but will maintain production levels in Asia where demand has not dropped off. The company is forecasting its group sales to fall 22 percent with an operating loss of about $300 million.
