Up for sale is a mint 2013 Yamaha YZ 250F. This was a local race bike that was just built. It has 8.9 hours on it. Factory Connection suspension, new tires, ICW radiators 25mm offset clamps, pro taper bars and grips, arc levers, brand new fx pleated seat cover, news graphics, vortex ignition, the engine almost brand new as well, cosworth piston, custom crankshaft by Crankworks, gytr head and cams, transmission has been polished, gytr clutch basket inner hub and pressure plate, FMF exhaust, 37mm fcr carb with race spec jetting, oversized front brakes, works connection holeshot device. Isle of Man TT 2013: SES TT Zero Results
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Motoczysz captured its fourth consecutive TT Zero at the 2013 Isle of Man TT, setting a new official record for electric motorcycles by averaging 109.675 mph on the Mountain Course. Michael Rutter piloted the Motoczysz E1PC to a lap time of 20:38.461 for his third straight TT Zero win. Finishing second as he did last year was John McGuinness on the Mugen Shinden Ni, with a time just 1.6 seconds slower than Rutter, with an average speed of 109.527 mph.
Yamaha Wraps Up Sepang MotoGP Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Pre-season test lap times aren’t a precise barometer for how the 2012 MotoGP Championship season will go, but Yamaha has to feel good about its results after this week’s testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Last February at Sepang, Honda riders were the talk of the preseason session, taking three of the top four lap times on each day of the test. That pattern repeated itself in the final championship standings with Casey Stoner taking the championship, Dani Pedrosa finishing third and Andrea Dovizioso fourth.
Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.
