Most of the upgrades were to the engine, frame and chassis, so all the action took place under the skin. Thanks to the new tweaks, the engine s power was increased in the upper rev range. On the other hand, the upper frame rails have been changed from a two-box section to a three-box section to control flex, while the cast swingarm section and the engine brackets were also modified.

EICMA 2013: Yamaha Reveals the Tricity

Today, at the EICMA 2013 show, Yamaha unveiled what it is calling a new direction in its urban commuter category. The Tricity is a LMW (Leaning Multi Wheel) scooter aimed at folks who previously may not have considered a two-wheeled alternatives to public transportation. Lorenzo, Spies Call Test a Success Despite Crashes

Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies each crashed but both riders deemed the third and final day of MotoGP testing in Malaysia a success. Lorenzo and Spies both crashed during the morning of the test but were unhurt. Despite the minor setback, both riders managed to get a lot done at the Sepang International Circuit.
