Bike has OEM rebuilt engine with only 10 hours of trail use only on it. bike has never been race. bike is very fast, has a bunch of upgrades. bike has renthal bars, renthal chain wheel. new rear brake master cylinder, new plastics, new graphics kit, new suspension components. bike also comes with a bunch of extras. comes with extra clutch discs, 2 pistons, new set of cams, extra set of plastics, set of spare tires. price is or best REASONABLE offer. Yamaha Motor USA to Swallow Up Yamaha Canada
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha’s board of directors has voted in transfer all shares of its Canadian subsidiary to its American subsidiary, a move which would give Yamaha Motor U.S.A. responsibility over the entire North American market. The proposed transfer, set to begin in December, will make Yamaha Motor Canada a subsidiary of its American counterpart.

Tue, 24 Apr 2012Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.
