2007 Yamaha YZ250F Sale or Trade for 2 Stroke (SE WI), $2,500, image 1

Yamaha YZ description

I'm looking to either sell my 250 F outright or trade for a 125 two stroke. This bike is in fantastic shape with many costly upgrades so any trade must be worth similar amount or will have to add cash. This bike needs absolutely nothing and the only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I am a two stroke guy and I thought I would try a 4 stroke. I just prefer a two stroke. This bike has a rebuilt motor that runs perfectly with about five hours on it. Has Pro Taper Accu-Trax offset triple clamps and bars, red anodized rims with gold anodized billet hubs, anodized fork tubes and shock, Feal revalved suspension, new plastics and graphics, chain and sprockets are near brand new and tires have three rides on them. I would be interested in a trade for an aluminum framed YZ125, a KTM 125 or 150, or a RM125. Trades don't have to be perfect, but will require cash on top if not as nice as mine. $2500/offer/trade. Kenny Roberts True American Heroes Benefit – Hang Out with World Champions and Bo Derek!

Fri, 03 May 2013

One of our favorite stories from 2012 was our coverage of the Kenny Roberts American Heroes Benefit Dinner. Hosted by King Kenny at his storied California ranch, it was an incredible opportunity to get close to the three-time world champ and other racing glitterati like Kenny Roberts Jr., Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson and renowned dirt-tracker Mert Lawwill. If those names resonate with you, it’s worth reading our story that includes a video and coverage of the Cpl.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

D'you cover your front brake with a finger?

Bumped into a riding instructor last weekend. Not literally, though, I'm pleased to add.  The road had been closed by a big accident and we'd all been forced into the same coffee/petrol stop together. He had one pupil with him on a 125 Yamaha custom thing.
