Yamaha YZ description

Selling my 02' Yamaha yz426f dirtbike. It runs extremely well and fires right up. There is nothing wrong with it and its really clean. It has a full FMF powercore four exhaust with power bomb header (re-jetted accordingly), Fluidyne oversize radiator, stage two Hotcams (starts just like a 450 and has no issues starting hot), renthal bars, 1 industries gripper seat cover with graphics kit, Works connection skid plate/frame plate, etc. I personally think it runs better than most 450's I have had in the past. $1900 cash, call/text

2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 Video Featuring Ben Spies

Mon, 26 Sep 2011

Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.

Sat, 18 Dec 2010

I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.

2014 AMA Supercross – Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
