Yamaha YZ description

For sale is a modified YZ125 2 stroke. The bike is a 1996 model but has been carefully maintained over the years and received several updates including New Pro Pilot front Forks, Pro Circuit fatty pipe, FMF Thunder Core 2 muffler. Oil has been regularly changed for tranny and high quality 2-stroke yamalube 32:1 mixture always run for careful lubrication. Bike has the armor protect skid plate, side frame supports and aluminum radiator shrounds. There are no stripped bolts, leaks or items that require service. Bike can be driven hard on day 1 with no regrets. Front and rear fenders are black. The fairing and tank are blue and the frame is white. This was a spare bike for me and I just upgraded so this one must go. The front tire has only about 6 hours of riding on it in the trails. Solid compression and fires up on the first kick. Brake pads were changed last year and still have about 90%. Front pads probably around 50%. I added a kickstand because this bike was only used on trails. You can feel the power from the first ride. My nephew has a 2012 Yz125 that he bought new. He rode this one and said this bike is every bit as fast as his is.  Can deliver within 100 miles of 06880 for a fee of $1.00 per mile (mileage based on one-way distance between your address and mine.), but my preference is for a local pickup.

How to solve the mystery of the wildcard replacement

Wed, 30 Jun 2010

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.

Yamaha Champions Riding School August Update

Tue, 05 Aug 2014

Our friends at the Yamaha Champions Riding School have been busy lately. Since moving to New Jersey Motorsports park in April, traffic has steadily risen, with June being sold out and July not far behind. August is very promising with some new ideas (one-day clinics to bring a more economical program to a larger group of riders) being inserted into the mix as well as a normal two-day school at the end of the month, which is already 80% full thanks to the yearly visit from the engineering department of Harley Davidson. Following August YCRS will have two schools the week directly after the AMA Pro races at NJMP.

2024 Yamaha Ténéré 700 First Ride

Wed, 13 Dec 2023

Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.
