So... I've got a problem. I bought a GREAT bike, and I live in Chicagoland. The thing is useless here, and I've got a 2-3 hour trip to take it anywhere fun. Someone, take it, and ride the ever loving crud out of it. Well, give me some money, and come take it. Along with the bike, you get a bunch of spare parts, seat cover, extra seat foam, a manual, an extra front wheel, an extra set of dirt tires, and a set of DOT legal tires. It has an enduro computer on it. Bark busters. A steering damper. A strap for a spare tube on the front fender. The suspension is fresh, well, was fresh when I bought it, but the bike has been essentially unused for four years. No leaks on the forks, or shock. When warm, it doesn't smoke. It starts easy and has good compression. It can also be titled. ... now, I don't ~have~ the title right now. If you don't plan on throwing signals and a plate on it, who cares. If you ~do~ want a title, say so. Otherwise I'll just give you a bill of sale, and you can go ride the thing in it's natural habitat. I accept cash, and check. If you pay by check, the check must clear before you pick up the bike. I do prefer cash obviously. The deposit is not refundable. Unless other arrangements are made, the bike will be relisted 14 days after the auction ends. |

California Superbike School 2-day Camp at Silverstone
Mon, 24 May 2010California Superbike School will be running a 2-day camp at Silverstone for the first time in the UK this August, offering riders a chance to enjoy extra track time while improving their skills in the art of cornering. Taking place on the all-new South circuit (1.9 miles long with 12 turns) students can ride their own bike or hire a fully prepared 2010 Yamaha R6 with the latest Dunlop Sportsmart tyres and fuel included. Already hugely popular with students returning year after year, previously the 2-day camps have been held in Spain during the spring.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
