Yamaha YZ description

2nd Owner of this bike, I have owned it for 6 years. Never been off road since I have owned it. It runs great! It has not been restored, its original except for the handle bars and rear fender which were bought new OEM. I had the steering stem bearings replaced, and the carb was cleaned and tuned by a certified motorcycle mechanic. Bike has very low hours on it, about 10-15. I have put new decals on the radiator and I have a replacement seat cover (the pic shows a small tear in the seat). Originally bought for a show bike, ran out of time. If interested, I have video of bike running. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Los Angeles Results

Mon, 23 Jan 2012

Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.
