Beautifully restored 1982 Yamaha Yz60, completely dissasembled and redone. Frame was sandblasted and painted, everything else sandblasted and powder coated. Matching motor and frame numbers of 5X1-000595, one of the earlier builds. New front tire and tube, new rear tire and tube. New clutch discs and engine oil.. New front sprocket and chain. Rear sprocket was not available, current one in great condition, and was cleaned and powder coated. New seat cover, new OEM style wicked tough graphics. New scott handgrips. Carburator was cleaned with new needle valve installed, new fuel petcock, new gas lines. New fork seals and fork oil. New clutch and brake levers. Runs and drives excellent and looks like new. Plastic all completely sanded down, cleaned and reheated for shine, in great original condition. Every nut and bolt was cleaned and coated, it looks like new. The Yz60 had a very short 3 year run, and are getting very difficult to find, let alone in this condition.. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end, full payment due within 48 hours of auction end, anything other then that must be talked about ahead of time. Andrea Dovizioso Signs with Tech 3 Yamaha for 2012
Tue, 11 Oct 2011The Tech 3 MotoGP team has reached a one-year agreement with Andrea Dovizioso, signing the Repsol Honda factory rider to take Colin Edwards’ place on the Yamaha satellite team in the 2012 season. Dovizioso will join the Tech 3 Yamaha team after three years with the Repsol Honda team. Despite currently holding onto the third overall spot on the 2011 championship points standings with five podium appearances and 13 top-five finishes in 15 races, Dovizioso found himself the odd man out with Honda which will stick with a two-man factory team of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa with Marco Simoncelli riding a factory-supported Honda RC212V with the Gresini team.
