Up for auction is a 1981 Yamaha yz465 I bought this bike 2 months ago with the intension of restoring it but plans have change. The bike is pretty much complete it does not run this is the way I bought the bike and I never did anything with it. I have some parts that go with it they are pictured. I have a Manual, wheel bearings, empty wiseco piston box and small misc parts. The owner before me bought a plastic kit for it, and its supposed to have a new piston in the motor I cant confirm but the box is there and it has very good compression. The rims are straight and the forks have no pitting on the chrome overall the bike is in decent shape for its age. There is no title for this bike. AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results
Mon, 16 Apr 2012Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.
Yamaha Brazil Introduces Flex Fuel YS250 Fazer BlueFlex
Tue, 17 Jul 2012Yamaha unveiled a new version of its YS250 Fazer for the Brazilian market that runs on gasoline, ethanol fuel, or a mixture of both. The new YS 250 Fazer BlueFlex is Yamaha’s first flex-fuel model, but the manufacturer says it plans to add more BlueFlex models in the future. Brazil is the world’s second largest ethanol fuel producer and the most successful biofuel-based economy.
Day 9 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Increases Overall Lead
Tue, 14 Jan 2014The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
