Up for sale here is a true 98% original 76 YZ 400. I will start out with my camera sucks and the photos do not do the bike justice. It starts right up and runs Great!! Seriously this bike is so original it is Awesome!! It has a dent in the tank on the left side as you are sitting on the bike( not real bad) Original seat is great! Even the original handlebars, With slight bend an easy fix. Exhaust is perfect with no dents or rust holes, Fork tubes are great, Wheels spin straight, Only bad is the kick stand mount has been welded back on( fine though) Air forks still hold air just fine, Air box all intact in nice shape with new filters, Even has the original kill button, As you can see in one of the photos there is a pile of NOS parts that go with the bike. And check it out both of the air canister rubber covers are still on it. You will NEVER find another like it as this bike was only built for I year only. 2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
Yamaha Planning Sub-$500 Model to Undercut Honda Dream Yuga
Fri, 25 May 2012Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.
