Up for sale here is a true 98% original 76 YZ 400. I will start out with my camera sucks and the photos do not do the bike justice. It starts right up and runs Great!! Seriously this bike is so original it is Awesome!! It has a dent in the tank on the left side as you are sitting on the bike( not real bad) Original seat is great! Even the original handlebars, With slight bend an easy fix. Exhaust is perfect with no dents or rust holes, Fork tubes are great, Wheels spin straight, Only bad is the kick stand mount has been welded back on( fine though) Air forks still hold air just fine, Air box all intact in nice shape with new filters, Even has the original kill button, As you can see in one of the photos there is a pile of NOS parts that go with the bike. And check it out both of the air canister rubber covers are still on it. You will NEVER find another like it as this bike was only built for I year only. Yamaha Gets Monster Energy MotoGP Team Sponsorship, Annuls Lorenzo’s RockStar Sponsorship Deal
Fri, 21 Dec 2012Yamaha has reportedly signed energy drink maker Monster Energy to sponsor its factory MotoGP team, according to Spanish site MotoCuatro.com. The new sponsorship deal created a bit of a problem however, as Yamaha‘s star rider Jorge Lorenzo recently signed a two-year contact extension to his personal sponsorship deal with RockStar, a rival energy drink maker. To get around this sticky situation, MotoCuatro reports Yamaha will invoke a clause in Lorenzo’s contract allowing the manufacturer to veto and buy out his RockStar contract.
AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015
Wed, 04 Dec 2013AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.

Thu, 23 Jan 2014Yamaha Motor Corp. will be the presenting sponsor of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, presented by Yamaha, on Friday, March 14, in Daytona Beach, Fla. This year’s special guest will be motorcycle inventor, designer, racer and Hall of Famer Craig Vetter.
