I BOUGHT THIS BIKE BACK IN 2002 HAS NO TITLE NOT RUNNING HAD BEEN SITTING IN A GARAGE SINCE 95 THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM HAD RESCUED IT AND WAS FLIPPING IT THE STORY HE GOT WAS THE PREVIOUS OWNER AN OLDER GUY HAD LAYED IT DOWN IN GRAVEL AT AN INTERSECTION LOW SPEED AND PUT IT AWAY NEVER TO RIDE IT AGAIN HE PASSED IN 2001 THTS HOW HE GOT THE BIKE AND HE SOLD IT TO ME AS A PARTS BIKE SANS TITLE ITS BEEN IN MY BASEMENT TILL NOW ITS ALL THERE WOULD MAKE A GOOD RESTO PROJECT OR PARTS BIKE WHEN I FIRST GOT IT I HAD IT RUNNING AND THE MOTOR AND TRANS SEEMED FINE THE FUEL TANK LEAKED AFTER CLEANING POKING AROUND FOUND PIN HOLES IN BOTTOM OF TANK I PUSHED IT IN A CORNER AND COVERED IT UP FIGURED IT WOULD BE A GOOD PROJECT FOR MY SON AND ME IN THE FUTURE AND NOW ITS THE FUTURE AND HE WANTS A FZR 600 SO ITS TIME FOR THE VISION TO GO THE BRAKES WORK SHOCKER THE TIRES ARE ANCIENT BUT LOOK GREAT ORIG SILVER PAINT NO HIDDEN SURPRIZES TANK NEEDS REPAIR ON BOTTOM SHALLOW DENT ON TOP NO CAP HAS SCRAPE MARKS ON LEFT SIDE OF FAIRING BREAK IN RIGHT SIDE LOWER AND SCRAPE ON MUFFLER MIRROR SEAT NICE HAVNT TRIED TO CRANK IT OVER SINCE ROLLING IT OUT LOST KEY AND NO TITLE YOU CAN GET ONE WITH THE COMPANY MOTO RECYCLE I DID IT WITH A XS1100 AND IT WENT SMOOTHLY IT WAS ANOTHER BARN FIND I WOULD DO IT WITH THIS ONE BUT I ALREADY HAVE A ONE VISION AND COULDNT SEE INVESTING TIME AND MONEY HAVING ANOTHER PICK ONLY HERE IN 19320 PA WILL WORK WITH YOUR SHIPPER

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.

For just $120,000, you too can be the owner of a special piece of motorcycling history. Up for grabs on eBay is the 1973 Yamaha TZ750 that started it all. Claimed by the current owner to be the test mule of none other than Kel Carruthers in 1973, this TZ carries the number #409-100001. Yamaha Works GP rider Sadeo Asami cared for the motorcycle for much of its racing life until it was returned to Yamaha USA where it was destined for the crusher.
