up for sale is my 2007 Yamaha XT225. Street legal dual sport. Very good condition mechanically, fresh oil change. new chain, Front and Rear sprockets. Rear cargo rack battery tender leads low miles 6882. Has some nicks and scratches and a few broken spokes before i got it. Never bothered me though. Battery is getting weak. Will probably need a new one after this season. cracked signal housing Bike is located in the Pocono mountains in Pennsylvania. Has a clean NY title. Spearheaded by the top-selling BMW R1200GS, the segment has seen a flood of imitators such as the Triumph Tiger Explorer, Yamaha Super Ténéré and the Honda Crosstourer. A recent report from the Motorcycle Industry Council found that scooter sales are also on the rise in the U.S., spurred on by soaring gas prices.

We had a real diverse selection or bikes actually with a GSX1400, XJR1300, Triumph Speedmaster, MT01, A Yamaha R1 and my Triumph Speed Triple.

Tue, 06 Jan 2009When Yamaha announced its new R1 literbike last fall, company reps told us about the tractability assets of its new, MotoGP-derived crossplane crankshaft for the four-cylinder engine. It’s unique in that cylinders fire 90-degrees apart, allegedly enabling better grip during acceleration. A byproduct of this design is an exhaust note that is distinctive in this world of cookie-cutter designs.
