If you are in the market for an XT500, then this is the one. This motorcycle is in excellent shape with low milage. This is a historic motorcycle 37 years old that looks great and runs like new. I have had several XTs over the years, this one is the cleanest and in the best condition that i have had. It may be the cleanest XT I have ever seen.
Everything on this bike works. It has the original motor, fenders forks side panels seat, fuel tank in excellent condition, It is just beautiful. This bike has the factory electronic ignition 1980 is the first year for electric ignitions. Here are two youtube videos. Please view I have a clear Maryland Title for this motorcycle. There is no inspection necessary here on vehicles older than 25 years. |

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar 1 Results
Mon, 02 Jun 2014It was a long time coming, but sidecar racer Conrad Harrison can add one accomplishment to his resume: Isle of Man TT winner. Harrison, along with passenger Mike Aylott won the first of two Sure Sidecar TT races. The win was the first for Harrison since he made his Isle of Man TT debut 21 years ago in 1993.
Yamaha Acquires Stake in KYB’s Motorcycle Suspension Business
Tue, 05 Feb 2013KYB is separating its motorcycle suspension business from its other operations, and forming a new company with Yamaha. The two companies will form a joint venture to be known as KYB Motorcycle Suspension Co., Ltd., offering motorcycle suspension components to OEMs including Yamaha. Yamaha will acquire a 33.4% stake in KYB Motorcycle Suspension Co.
2014 Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F Recalled
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Yamaha is recalling 2014 YZ450F and YZ250F off-ride motorcycles because of a risk of the drive chain detaching. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects 1,300 units in the U.S. while Transport Canada says another 115 units are affected north of the border.
