Yamaha XT description

I am selling my 1980 Yamaha XT 250 (yeah, same model Rambo rode). I recently got a TW200 and it's time to depart with the trusty XT! When I got the bike (only a few hundred miles ago) it had been sitting so it has a new set of rings, fresh valve job, valves freshly adjusted (10 miles ago), cam chain retensioned, fuel filter added, tank treatment added, new Renthal chain and sprockets, new engine bolts (All Allen head), and new front brakes, tire, and inner tube. The tire and brakes are *not* shown in the pictures (taken before I installed it), but it is a Shinko SR244 tire which is very popular for dual sport riding! I run the the same tire on my TW and love it! The carb has recently been rebuilt with a new boot, accelerator pump diaphragm, and gaskets. The bike runs AMAZING! Kicks over in any weather with one kick and you can snap the throttle wide open from any speed once the engine is warm. It really pains me to see the bike go. It's massively reliable, surprisingly powerful, and very nimble in all situations. Cosmetically, the paint is faded, but very good condition given the age. The tank has ONE minor ding, but otherwise in great shape. Really is a fine example of one of the greatest Yamaha dual sports every made! I am somewhat firm on the price, but make me an offer and see what we can work out! Two keys included!  Clear Colorado title!! Street legal!!!!

Yamaha will give a third wheel to its scooter

Sun, 05 May 2019

The Japanese did not have enough unusual Niken bikes so they patented the design of a new 3-wheeler scooter. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. We're looking forward to the debut of the production version at the end of the year at EICMA.

Rich Oliver’s Mystery School Still Has Open Dates

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Many roadracing champions will tell you that training in the dirt has helped them immensely in becoming the best rider they can be. The drastically reduced grip in the dirt makes a rider feel more comfortable on the street when one or both tires start slipping. At the Rich Oliver’s Mystery School, five-time 250cc champion, Rich Oliver, will teach you how to gain confidence on two wheels, all from the controls of a TTR125 Yamaha.
