Yamaha XT description

1977 Yamaha XT500 Engine and Frame Vin number matching Bike. This is the second year made of this model. Bike is in above average condition, and in great shape. She's a head turner! I recently purchased, and the previous owner took great care of her. Garage kept and used as a street bike. He kept it serviced with oil and filter changes. Motor is in great shape, sounds amazing, and has plenty of power. These bikes are quick! All original except updated handlebars and handlebarts (aluminum renthal). Clear Washington title and collectors plate. I just registered it, and have clean title in hand. The bike starts 1st or 2nd kick, but due to my small size - I'm having too hard of a time kicking it for a daily rider. I'm heartbroken as this is my dream bike, but looking to send her to a good home. Buyer is responsible for arranging and payment or shipping. Local pickup is an option too.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.

Alright, maybe this isn’t for everyone, but I thought it was obscure enough to warrant some interest to any motorcyclist. TEZZMIN, a senior member over at the R6MessageNet forums, has posted a nice How-To on removing an ’03-’04 Yamaha R6 ‘s Air Induction System. What does the AIS do?
