Up for sale is this 1981 Yamaha well known as XS Eleven. The bike is in pretty good condition for its year and mileage. It is the rare Venturer model which came with "original custom" Aero fairings made by Pacifico. Motorcycle comes with 44,304 miles on. It has been standing for a long time but i have been able to start it but looks like some of the main jets are stuck in an open position so it over-floats the carbs. It needs a good cleaning and it will run like a champ..All of the saddle bags and fairings are intact but the color is faded. Also the back Storage compartment is broken. Well tats basically all i can tell you about the bike. Thanks for stopping by and happy bidding!! Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.

Thu, 05 May 2011Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
