Awesome running riding chopper. I built this bike over the past few years. Custom 2" extended 2" drop hard tail with molded super narrow sporty tank. The whole frame is molded and panel painted with ppg single stage white and a custom mix of house of color candy gold and gold flake. One off sissy bar, bars, exhaust, seat. Gold flake and white tuck n roll upholstery. One off electronics and battery box upholstered with white pleats. 23" front spool wheel with new tire. 18" drum brake rear wheel. Tc brothers forward controls. New rebuilt 1975 xs650 engine. Runs great. Starts up first or second kick. Lots of time and money put into this bike I just have a bunch of other projects I need to finish. Clean title in hand and I also have the original engine. serious buyers only. MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule
Tue, 19 Jun 2012MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.

Yamaha Files Trademark Application for FJ-09
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Yamaha‘s next three-cylinder motorcycle may be a sport-tourer, if a recently-filed trademark application is any indication. The Tuning Fork brand filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the name “FJ-09” as it applies to “Motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled scooters and structural parts for all the aforesaid goods.” Following Yamaha’s usual naming conventions, the signs indicate the trademark will be for a new sport-touring model using the same Triple as the FZ-09. Yamaha has made it clear it plans to introduce more three-cylinder engines following the FZ-09 (or MT-09, as it is known in Europe.) Previously-filed trademark applications for the YZF-R3 and R3 names raised speculation the next triple would be a sportbike, but as per Yamaha’s usual naming convention, the “3″ in R3 is likelier to refer to the engine displacement rather than the number of cylinders.
