I have for sale my 1981 Yamaha XS650. Its done in a bobber style and in my opinion one of the best looking japanese chops. The build is about 3 years old,has a Voodoo vintage hardtail and the rest of the frame is painted a semigloss black. The rear wheel is a 18'' honda with drum sporting a 4.00-18 Avon the front is a 21'' with a 3.00-21 Avon in between cleaned up and polished front forks. Black vinyl Biltwell seat and p-pad. K/N filters and aftermarket pipes top off the engine and sounds amazing. Sporty tank and the rear fender have a slick green/blueish GM pearl that looks great. Brand new battery and tons of other aftermarket parts. The bike is a kickstart only but the auction includes another lower mile motor with starter. Tue, 29 Mar 2011I’ve just got back from Donington Park and the second round of the World Superbike championship. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.

Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
