For sale 1981 Yamaha XS650 special cafe racer.
Bike rides good. Looks good. Comes as seen in pictures. When it was converted to Cafe Racer everything was gone through. Parts were re-built or replaced as needed. I don't want to write stories about each part separate so if there's anything in particular you would like to know please ask. Sold AS IS. No warranty. No returns. Deposit of $300 (non refundable) required by PayPal within 24 hours of auction end. Balance in CASH ONLY at the pick up within 5 days. Local pick up only. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
