1981 Yamaha XS 1100 Special 80's Super bike This bike is a blast to ride, Very smooth engine and drive shaft, 95 Horse power advertised when new. Low miles 6841 and is in Excellent Condition for its age, small nicks and scratches, some show in pictures some do not. Oil changed, have New Michelin Commander II tires with 150 miles. Vintage Vetter Fairing and Trunk complete with all Mounting brackets, Manual with instructions, Keys and wiring, was on bike when I bought it. Everything works, Starts, Runs, shifts and clutches as it should, has excellent throttle response with the CV Carbs. Please review my pictures and ask any questions you may have, review my feedback as seller ,( I have no intention to mislead anyone.) Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
Shane Turpin on the 848 at Cadwell
Wed, 22 Aug 2012AMA rider and World Superbike wildcard, Shane 'Tornado' Turpin will be riding the 848 Challenge VIP bike this weekend at Cadwell Park. Turpin is an experienced AMA rider and raced as a wildcard at this year’s World Superbike event at Miller Motorsports Park on board a Boulder Motor Sports prepared 1198RS. Wed, 26 Feb 2014With the absence of Marc Marquez from the second Sepang MotoGP test, due to a broken leg suffered in a training accident, another Honda rider took his place at the top of the time sheets, though it’s not who you might think. Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini Honda set the fastest time at the end of the first day with a 2:00.848. The time is 1.3 second slower than the fastest time Marquez set at the last Sepang test.
