Here is a great running XT500 that is completely stock. This bike fires right up, Engine sounds very good. accelerates smoothly. Fuel tank looks good inside and out. Clear instruments. Still has turn signals in place. Its a very nice bike that has been taken care of. Clean wheels and spokes, all original equipment still in place. Easy to see this bike has not been abused. Will need a rear tire. There is a repair on the left shoulder of the seat. The right side cover is held on with zip ties, should be replaced and the front fender is cracked towards the rear. Some scratches on the bike but nothing you wouldn't expect from a 35 year old bike. With just a few simple items fixed and a detail, this bike would be a beautiful Vintage XT500 Clear paperwork. When I asked him how long I could have it, he basically shrugged his shoulders and winked.

The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees.
