1981 YAMAHA XS850 SPECIAL
This 1981 Yamaha XS850 Special starts right up and runs good. It shifts through all the gears smoothly and everything works as it should. Overall the bike is in good condition, but not perfect. There is some rust, scratches, and typical wear. The bike was repainted at some point in the past and looks decent but certainly not factory quality. Some of the paint is faded and dull (see photos). The tires are newer and in great condition with about 75% of tread left. The bike has a king & queen seat with backrest and crash bar with highway pegs. By no means is this a perfect motorcycle, but it is a solid bike that runs good and looks decent.
Please Note: I have only done a basic visual inspection of the bike and taken it on a short test drive. There may be more issues that I am not aware of. Mon, 07 May 2012Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.
