PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD! READ THE ENTIRE AD!!! Thank you. 1981 XS650. It needs a minor cleaning and buffing from sitting in the garage. Will need minor little things. Does not leak. Always stored inside. I bought this to make a Cafe' Racer but just don't have the time right now. I have not run this one in a couple of years. It has all the gears and great compression. She will need a new battery, minor carb clean etc from sitting. Perfect for someone who wants a beautiful original or a Cafe base to start from. I AM NOT GIVING IT AWAY SO FORGET THE STUPID LOWBALL OFFERS. I will just part it out. I am not getting her going. If I had the time for that i'd cafe' it and ride it myself or sell it for double the price atleast. This will be a super easy project for anyone. Yamaha “Dark Side of Japan” Teases New Model Launching June 11 – Video
Thu, 30 May 2013Yamaha has released a video teasing a new model it claims “is about to change the sport motorcycle world.” The video, called “The Dark Side Of Japan“, reveals little detail about the new model but promises all will be unveiled June 11. The video includes images from Japan’s vibrant nightlife and lively sub-culture,with youths in costume and exotic hair and makeup dancing in clubs. The new model will reflect this side of Japan, with Yamaha calling it a “new kind of brutal animal”.
Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places
Fri, 28 Jun 2013Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
2022 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid Announced for Europe
Tue, 15 Feb 2022No word yet on US availability Yamaha Motor Europe announced the production version of the 2022 Ténéré 700 World Raid, a new Ténéré variant with a larger fuel tank and longer travel suspension. It joins Yamaha’s European lineup alongside the regular Ténéré 700, plus a Rally Edition version which we don’t get in the U.S. We first saw the World Raid at EICMA as a prototype equipped with a number of Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) performance parts.
