1979 Yamaha XS 650 Special Cafe Racer (clean title). Updates include, wheels, tires, front fork rebuild, brakes, drag bars, brake master cylinder, new paint, seat, suspension, carb rebuild, K&N air intakes, lights, wiring, cables, battery and much more.
It is a fun little bike to blast around town or on the highway. Anyone that is into the Cafe Racer style is sure to enjoy and appreciate this Yamaha. Wed, 20 Jul 2011A special one-off Yamaha R1 that “King” Kenny Roberts will ride at Laguna Seca at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix will be auctioned off to benefit an arts school in New York. The GYTR-equipped R1 with Yamaha’s 50th anniversary red and white paint scheme will be sold at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction, Aug.

Produced in limited numbers, the 35th Anniversary Edition Yamaha SR400 offers an exclusive leaf green metallic color, special badging and, in an unusual gesture, a lower price than the base model. The original SR500 was introduced in 1978 as a street-focused version of the Yamaha XT500.
