Yamaha XS description

I have a nice survivor TX650 for sale. It runs and drives great. It is a two owner bike that was well taken care of. The chrome is in good shape, the paint has a spot on top of the tank(see pics)but no dents. The mufflers are original, but the left one has chrome coming off (see pics). I have installed new Dunlop tires and tubes, seat cover, and numerous other parts. The oil and filter have been changed too. The bike has been checked over at the local dealer and is ready to ride. The bike is being sold "As-Is"with no implied warranty. The shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and I will not crate the bike. I also require a $250 deposit through Paypal , which will be non-refundable. Also, I am starting the bid price at what I have in it , which doesn't include my time and labor.

AMA Pro SuperBike Heads To Road America For Round 2 Of AMA Pro Road Racing

Fri, 30 May 2014

The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

My Cadburys Boost YZF 750 comes back to life.

Sat, 01 Sep 2012

After winning my 3rd BSB title in 1998, as an end of season bonus, Yamaha UK kindly handed over my beloved Cadburys Boost YZF 750. There were three of these ex factory bikes in Rob Mac’s team; one went to me, the big man still has one, and the third was sold for a sum that was never disclosed. I had three cracking years on this special machine battling against team mates Whitham, Walker and Hislop and breaking most lap records along the way. The hard charging Bayliss, Reynolds and Rymer were also thrown into the mix on occasions just to make life even more interesting.
