1971 Yamaha XS650 Low miles Very Clean (Boulder), $4,000, image 1

Yamaha XS description

Ok, I hate to do this but I need a new dirt bike and selling this bike seems the only way I can afford it. I have a very nice 1971 Yamaha xs650 (XS-1)(kick start only). This bike is almost original with very few miles and very clean. Miles are not known for sure because the odometer stopped working at 2000 mis but the guy I got it from says he put less then 1000mis on it and he bought it from the original owner who claims the miles where close to accurate. The tank and side covers where professional repainted. The shock covers and headlamp are original paint. Everything is in terrific condition and runs very well. O took it on a 100 mi ride a few weeks ago. It does have a very small oil leak but nothing major, it is over 40yrs old. I am not a professional on XS650's but from my understanding its almost all original except for the handle bars, rear fender chopped, rear taillight, removed turn signals and the air filters where replaced with air pods. This bike was professional tuned and dialed this summer. It rides like a dream. Here is your chance to get a very sweet ride. Clean and clean title in hand. Only $4000 firm, NO TRADES! 2015 Yamaha XJR1300 and XJR1300 Racer Announced for Intermot

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

In a time where air-cooled icons like Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW‘s boxer engine and the Ducati Monster have all embraced the radiator, it’s a bit surprising to know Yamaha is still offering the XJR1300 in Europe. Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.

What Has James Stewart Been Up To? [video]

Wed, 15 Dec 2010

The last time we checked up on James Stewart, he wasn’t having a good year. First, there was the season-ending injury in the second round of the 2010 AMA Supercross campaign, an ill-advised comeback at the Unadilla National, and then a much-panned open letter after getting left off Team USA for the Motocross of Nations. In all, Stewart took part in just three races in 2010.
