Here is a true barn find! Bike had been sitting in a shed for over 20 yrs. Odometer reading is accurate. It was in very poor condition from sitting for so long. Tank had dent and paint was faded. Engine had low compression but did turn over. Tires were rotted and brakes were seized, you get the idea. The following is a long list of what was done to bring it back to life.1. Bike was completely disassembled.2. Frame was blasted and painted3. Fork seals were replaced4. New tires5. Chain and sprockets6. New cables and mirrors7. New battery8. It needed a new exhaust and had some cam chain noise so I started to tear it down but other projects got in the way, now its been sitting for a number of years and I'm not going to get to it anytime soon so its time for it to go. 1969 CB750 sandcast low reasonable starting price and buy it now.Matching number: VIN number 1005907, Engine number 1005418 I bought it a few years ago and started working on it but now because of back pain I am not able to finish it so it must go to another fan of sandcast guy to bring it to the perfect condition. It was sitting for years when I bought it, I cleaned it, Changed oil and filter, cleaned carburetors and changed gas lines and used another portable gas tank and start and now it runs but needs a little synchronising on carburetors. No Battery.Fron caliper is professionally rebuild and painted and come with bike as you see on pictures some missing mounting bolt and screws. it has regular ignition switch but will come with receded switch and key that shown on pictures.left hand mirrors part is broken as shown on pictures. side covers and light head bucket and ears are repainted but gas tank has its own previous paint. Inside wrinckle gas tank is nice and free of rust. Not noticeable rust. duck tail seat. double cut fender has a little bend on end part needs to be fixed.I changed on this bike handle bar since it was not original to the bike and also short chain guard. Air box has no crack or repair and will come with bike. It has 4 in 2 very nice exhaust pipes so I did not change it. 1983 Honda CB 1000C Low Miles (1983)
A nice example of a rare 1983 Honda CB 1000 C. I am the second owner, and have taken great care of this bike. Original miles are stated, all parts are Honda or Hondaline. There are no known issues with this bike, and is ridden on occasion. Current registration, clear MN title in my name, and turn key condition. This is a real nice cruising bike, both on the highway and in the city. 10 gears ( 5 hi or 5 low). Depending on the riding condition, allows you to adjust to hills or flatland riding. I have painstakingly replaced, or repaired many components that were bad or going bad over the last several years. Some new items in the last year are: Front tire, CDI units, Fuel valve, Carburetors rebuilt and synchronized, brake calipers rebuilt, new brake pads replaced, new plug wires, spark plugs, air filter, rear brake master cylinder rebuilt, front brake rotors replaced (V65 vented rotors). There are NO known problems with this bike, and is fully functional and fast. Feel free to ask questions, as I will do my best to answer. Note: I have the original rear grab bar, it comes with the bike, just not currently installed. ( see Photo ) Note: The seat is OEM and has never been recovered. Wed, 13 Dec 2023Small updates keep the T7 fresh, but we're still missing out on the European variants Photos by Yamaha/Joseph Agustin Photo Yamaha’s popular Ténéré 700 “T7” adventure bike returns for 2024, and while it would be easy to say it is “largely unchanged” from the 2023 model, there have been some notable changes made in response to feedback from many North American riders. One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

Thu, 17 Aug 2023Riding 950 miles across three states in two days highlights this Tracer’s capabilities Photography by Joseph Augustin New motorcycle model introductions follow a well-worn path: travel to the event location, eat nice meals, get briefed on the bike of the moment, ride a route designed to highlight the bike’s strengths, take photos/video, eat more good food, return home, and write up a review. After 27 years in this industry, I still get a cheap thrill about throwing a leg over a new motorcycle before it is available to the general public. However, what really gets me going is when I have a chance to log more than just the couple of hundred miles typically covered in an intro and spend some real time on the road with said bike.

Our reasoning is that, thanks to the sleuthing of Dennis Chung, we suspect the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ will be coming to the U.S. in 2024.

Thu, 06 Apr 2023Sport-tourer equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control Last November, Yamaha Motor Europe revealed a new Tracer 9 GT+ at EICMA, a new version of its Triple-powered sport tourer equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, adaptive cruise control, and a radar-linked unified braking system. Yamaha Motor USA, however, remained quiet about it, and we later learned the Tracer 9 GT+ was not coming to the States for 2023. In fact, even the less techy regular Tracer 9 was left out of Yamaha Motor USA’s returning model announcements.

In case you forgot the premise of this whole thing, Yamaha offered us the opportunity to hang on to an MT-10 SP for an extended period of time, and since I have a soft spot for the bike, I decided to give it some tasteful upgrades to address some key weaknesses while also unleashing some trapped potential.
